DESCRIPTION:The 1st Annual \n\n\n\nOld Time String Band Concert \n\n\n\nat the \n\n\n\nShafer Farm in Burkittsville\, MD \n\n\n\nBenefitting the Burkittsville Preservation Association on Saturday\, October 14th \n\n\n\nFeaturing \n\n\n\nThe Dargan Benders \n\n\n\nThe Gravy Soppers \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe Burkittsville Preservation Association will host its first annual concert series on October 14th\, 2023 from 2pm – 6:30pm at the H. W. Shafer Farm (1606 Gapland Rd\, Jefferson\, MD 21755) featuring an afternoon of old time string band music from local bands The Gravy Soppers and The Dargan Benders. There will be a food truck (The Pita King) and local beer from Smoketown Brewing Station (Brunswick) on tap. Concert goers should bring lawn chairs and blankets. Tickets are $8 ahead of time on the Burkittsville Preservation Association website or $10 day-of at the event; kids 12 and under are free. Gates open at 1 pm.
