The Burkittsville Preservation Association will host its first annual concert series on June 1, 2024 from 2 PM – 6:30 PM at the H. W. Shafer Farm (1606 Gapland Rd, Jefferson, MD 21755) featuring an afternoon of old time string band music from local bands The Gravy Soppers and The Dargan Benders. There will be a food truck and local beer from Smoketown Brewing Station (Brunswick) on tap. Concert goers should bring lawn chairs and blankets. Tickets are $10; kids 12 and under are free. Gates open at 1 PM.
